Order Confirmation & Policy Agreement

By placing an order on the Montreal Finds website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Return & Refund Policy.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed and accepted the conditions and timeframes outlined in this policy.

  • You agree to follow the return procedure described below.

  • In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, this policy, along with order records and communication history, may be used as supporting evidence.

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided all conditions below are met.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.

  • Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

  • Only standard inspection and handling should have occurred.

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping and handling costs.

Returns are reviewed within 7 business days after arrival. Montreal Finds reserves the right to reject any return that shows signs of wear, misuse, or damage not caused by us.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@shopmontrealfinds.com within 30 days of delivery.

  2. Include the following information in your email:

    • Order number

    • Reason for return

    • Clear photos (required for damaged or defective items)

    • Your full name and shipping address

  3. Wait for confirmation and return instructions before sending your item.

Please do not send returns without authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and keeping proof of shipment until your return is finalized.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 2 days of delivery at info@shopmontrealfinds.com and provide:

  • Your order number

  • A short description of the issue

  • Clear photos or a short video showing the defect

Once the issue is verified:

  • A replacement may be offered depending on availability and the nature of the issue.

  • In certain cases, a return may not be required.

Replacement processing typically takes 7–14 business days.

Lost, Refused, or Unclaimed Packages

Lost Shipments

If your package is confirmed lost in transit:

  • Contact us with your order number and tracking information.

  • We will assist with the courier investigation and arrange a replacement or refund once the loss is confirmed.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, a $35 CAD deduction will be applied to the refund to cover administrative and shipping costs.

Cancellations & Right of Withdrawal

You may request cancellation within 30 days of receipt, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

However, because order fulfillment is automated, orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped. If your order has already been dispatched, you must wait for delivery and then initiate a return.

To request cancellation before shipment, contact us at info@shopmontrealfinds.com with a clear cancellation request.

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If you experience any issues with your order, please contact Montreal Finds first so we can resolve the matter quickly and fairly.

In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, we may submit supporting documentation to the payment provider, including:

  • Order confirmation details

  • Shipping and tracking information

  • Email correspondence and submitted images

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may delay resolution and may impact eligibility for future orders.

Important Information

  • All approved returns must be shipped to our central warehouse in Asia at the customer’s expense.

  • Montreal Finds is not responsible for shipping delays, customs inspections, or clearance issues.

  • Hygiene-sensitive items returned in used or unsanitary condition will not be accepted.

  • Return shipping and handling fees are not covered by Montreal Finds.
